Hello and welcome! When it comes to fashion shopping do we do it backwards? Well I know I have, where I have bought something that doesn’t go with anything in my wardrobe at all, and then I have had to then buy an item that does.
Now I buy items by going through the items I have that I can add to it, and as i buy new items I will let items I haven’t worn or go through things I could wear that i haven’t, but with every new item, an item is either recycled, donated or sold online.
I will often as part of a Seasonal Clean up I like to do, make my closet priority to go through items I have worn a lot, items I like to wear as a change and items I yet still to wear and take it out to remind me to wear it.
When I move into my new home I will be having a rail where I will put items and outfits to be worn, and then have a system where I mix my outfits up, and go through bags, shoes and accesseries.
I will be choosing outfits that i want to share in my regular Look Book I like to do and my GRWM Videos and outfits of the day.
When it comes to buying I will often have a lot of items in a basket, but no to buy but potentially and then leave it and come back to it, to see if still want those items.
Fashion has to be comfortable but stylish and shows me as a person and who I am.
So when shopping, go through pieces you’d like to add and spend time sorting through your closet to get the most out of it.
Many thanks for reading,
