Saturday Weekend Post/Includes vid/dressing for work

Hello, so i am going to add the Weekend chat video I filmed as part of my Life coaching course i am doing, called Project 2021, see site https://everyonecanbuildacastle.com

When it comes to dressing for work, depending on what it is, I go buy what is easy to put on that doesn’t need to be dry cleaned, can I get it in sale and will it last me for several seasons. Basically longevity!

I have worked in Contact Centers when monday to thursday we would have to be in professional office type clothing, but be able to dress down on Fridays and working at the weekend.

Yet when it comes to the Spring and Summer, you can get very hot in certain office attire.

Classic Lion Button Blazer - Office Work Blazer

So I love a blazer and found this on a new online shop I have just found called https://ultamodan.com/which I am going to try out. I have had many different styles and colours, because they are great to wear without needing to layer up, and make any outfit look smart.

The office dress! I used on a Sunday go to Debenhams in Wimbledon where they would have a sale on many office dresses, cause it would be stock that hadn’t sold that week and would be on sale, to make space for new items to come in, the following Monday.

This one here is on BOOHOO who do some good dresses, and always seem to have a sale. The dresses I’d buy from Debenhams would be ones from the Wallis section of the store and they latest me a long time and I could then after work put on flips flops and take my work shoes off, and still look smart and professional. Now I work from home I don’t really need this type of dress, but if working in an office again I would.

The office shoe! No there are many styles I like, but this one above is a classic style. I have owned shoes like this in different colours, flat or with a more of a higher heel. I would change my shoes from work to a sandal or a flip flop, but these shoes can be worn summer or winter, and still look Stylish even with a pair of leggins.

The one you see above is on amazon.com and is my main site I always order from.

The Skirt! A must for me when working in a professional environment and had may different styles either in black, patterned or in a grey colour.

Does you wardrobe have to be in dark colours?

No, not neccessarily! I have wanted different colours red, pink (usually patterned) and either Straight cut or pencil.

Adding a bit of colour can be a nice to stand out, especially if you are looking to take on a new position and been promoted and it makes a change from wearing mainly dark colours, that we can kind of associate office clothes to be.

Found this skirt in picture from a blog site called: https://fashion2do.wordpress.com/2016/01/15/best-outfitsstyle-for-30-year-olds-getting-there-quickly-kim-kardashian-olivia-pope-sheath-dress-business-casual-office-work-fashion/

White shirt, leather skirt and orange blazer look to the office

The Bag! So I have had many styles and I love a good bag, as when I worked and would travel to work, I would make sure it was big enough for my Diary, a book as i liked to read when travelling to work sometimes, any make up, my phone, purse and keys.

There are so many options now, but I love amazons bag collections and bought many last year. I also like to check out the bags in stores like, Primark, Very and TK Maxx.

I am someone who likes collectables when it comes to dressing for work, and I now work a lot at home, but once i start to do, Radio, TV, shows and podcasts etc, I will be wearing clothes for those, which will be far from working in an office.

So many thanks for reading, have a good rest of the Saturday and a good weekend,
