Saturday Weekly Post/Finding Fashion for the weekends

When it comes to the weekends I do wear things differently to what I wear during the week. Like now I am wearing a black dress in respect of Prince Philips the Duke of Edinburgh because it is his Funeral today and I am going to write an inspiring story about the Gentlemen who was the Queens husband and loyal companion.

This dress if available from Amazon.com and I don’t tend to do plain but with dresses I do and I always like to have a black dress in my wardrobe as they are my easy wearing go to weekend, no fuss clothes and as it is summer a pair of flip flops.

Flip flops never go out of fashion and I have since the Spring has arrived with Summer ont he horizon mentioned them a lot.

I often do black with black but if you want to add a bit of colour with a black dress, then a gold or a bright colour can really change the black dress from being good to looking “Yes she loves the summer at the weekend”.

These are great to wear at the weekends, especially if you have BBQ to go to soon or when you meet friends and sit outside a pub enjoying a glass of Presseco and a pub meal.

Yes I hear a pub meal calling “Soon we’ll be found” mine and my sons song, by the wonderful Sia.

You could with the dress, with the nice flip flop/sandals with the ankle jewellery wear matching gold pieces, Earrings, Bracelet and Necklace.

Then there is Sunglasses. Now I don’t pay a lot for a set of Sunglasses and I do have a few pairs, but I stick to two pairs of different styles, and I am still a Raiband Girl.

Then there is the bag. There is the beach bag, the basket bag and shoulder bag. These tend to be my choices and I love bag sets. I do sometimes use a Tote but my first choice would be a Basket summer tote and a shoulder bag.

New Related Sites/Fashion Pieces that make statement

So first of all I want to introduce some new sites I have created on google blogger, and one is called the Stylish Mamma, Thrills and Thrills of Fantastic Meals, Books and Stories and My Style Way Of Living.

I love fashion and I like having many things, like Jewellery and having items like an Ankle Bracelet can be a great way to get that Summer Glam vibe.

For me it is all about, finding different items that is not the same as what you would find on the high street, but is still good value.

Dressing for the Week Ahead

Hello and welcome! So, if you have been following me on this site you would have seen that I have been sharing some Look Books, and as the weather is changing so is my fashion and I do dress for the different seasons, but of items I can wear all year round, but layering for the colder months and just basic staple items for the summer.

So this is what I like to wear and for the week ahead. I tend to go for these colours, and looking to die and style my hair more, as I do have some really exciting events coming up, and so I feel this look is perfect for the week ahead.

The pink Flip flops I bought this week from Amazon and I love them, I like to treat myself to a new pair each year and these will be great, I am wearing a yellow and black camisole top, from very so why I have added this colour at the bottom the look book.

I do like a Blazer and the one in the photo is one I bought from Very, and i love it, with my pink glamour flip flops from last year, and I love an Ankle Bracelet, they are timeless and always an staple for me.

As I go into the week, I do wear a kind of a casual office vibe look with a hint of glam and tailored, and just easy wearing.

So, I do a try on video to come, and more look books to share as we get nearer to summer, with more spring type looks.

New Daily Fashion Look Book/I am getting the summer vibe

Hello! It is time for another Daily Fashion Look book. I am getting the summer vibe and so I have had my flip flops out and have been wearing a dress and shorts without tights. It means the warmer weather is near.

I was wearing a jumper dress, which I love to wear from Autumn to spring, and wear it with flip flops or tights with a pair of flat ballet pump shoes.

The Jumper Dress is from Amazon.com and the other fashion is from Shein and Airy Cloth, which is a online retailer I discovered this year.

I have chosen these items because they are my go to summer clothes as i love colour and that stand out sometimes. I am that girl who will wear leggins all year round, and jeans.

You can still wear boots in the summer but also that you can dress with sandles and the ones you see above the black ones are my type of shoes i love wearing again, ALL YEAR ROUND! that is me so, I hope you like this fashion look book and see you again soon.

Saturday Weekend Post/Start of April 2021

Hello, yeah me too! Thank You weekend you are here, God bless you. Sorry who sneezed? Anyway, so it is Saturday “No shit sherlock” and I have another Look Book to share.

So I like to mix up clothes and footwear, so I when I work on the music concerts and festivals I have items I can swap and change into, but wear these above other times to. I like to mix everyday items to seasonal events and summer and spring is no exception. Being April we don’t want to be wearing anything too heavy and you see the image of me. That is my kind of uniform, but I do like to be less plain too, and I think I want to bring this out more, as looking at it, it is a bit boring, but there is always room for improvement.

When on holiday and at a music festival I don’t wanna be carrying a heavy bag so a shoulder bag ideal, and being on my feet all day I need footwear to be easy wearing, so I can dance and the short denim trousers I love to have, as you can dress these up or be super casual but still be stylish at the same.

I love a stylish top with colour and is interesting, and so take a look and see if this look suits you and get the most out of your clothes.

My Weekend Weekly Post/I’m loving my Daily Look Books

Hello and welcome! It is my Weekend Weekly post, which I usually do on a Saturday but I am writing this now, to scheduled to go out tomorrow Monday.

So I am loving my Daily Look Books, and even write an EBook on the subject, under the name Carrie Lee Holmes, and is called: Putting Together a Fashion Look Book

I have put quite a few together and many I have created so far, has been about Spring, Summer and Music Festival vibe.

So below is my next one I have put together and I have looked on Airy Cloth and they are fantastic. I am loving their clothes, and are sponsoring today’s post. I will be doing a shop with me video soon, as honestly check them out.

I love a good Spring and Summer outfit that is still a touch of Autumn and Winter still, and this look (above) is me.

I am flip flip enthusiast if their is such a thing, and I love an Ankle bought and treat myself to a new pair every year.

Ankle boots is a staple and I like to buy mine from, New Look or Amazon.

TU Sainsbury’s do a good range, of shoes and fashion and I have been surprised with their racks. They have stepped up to fashion, with their collection.

The White T with the feather on it, I purchased from Amazon and love it. Not worn it yet but when i do, i will include it somewhere to let you know.

I have also been looking on Shein and Etsy, and yes go and have a look, because they do a lot of High end to low end and it is all original fashion items, for less off the price.

Fashion Look Book/Bring on the Summer

Hello! Yes it is Wednesday, midweek and Here is a new #FashionLookbook, and it screams for me, how I feel. I want Lockdown to be over and yes, Bring on the summer. I am so ready for that change of season, now we are in Spring.

It is time for pub lunch, and yes I am going to keep putting this in my blogs, to make sure it happens, with a nice non-acohol drink of Ice Cold Diet coke or a lovely glass of Lemonade, with a slice.

So this Look Book is all about being ready for the #summer, and found some lovely swimwear too, as I love swimming when the weather gets warmer, and these pieces I found on AiryCloth, and I am loving their fashion. Honestly they have got it sussed when it comes to seasonal clothing, and yes I am ready for a good Summer Holiday wearing these items, and being relaxed and stylish at the same time.

I don’t do tight clothing when it is just during the day and hanging out, by an hotel bar, and listening to some lovely summer music, and I miss since a kid, being able to watch the Sunset. I love my holidays in Menorca, and is why I want breathable clothes for the day, but dress up more in the evenings.

New Look Book a Summer holiday glamour theme implented

Hello and welcome! Start of a new week ahead. Now I have been creating new Daily look books and loving them.

So here is my new one, which has a Summer Holiday Glamour Theme, Vibe. I love clothes that are simple but makes me feel good at the same time, and when going out in the evenings, on holiday aswell as when doing TV work I like to dress a bit different to how I would dress everyday. It is good to make a change to the norm when vacating.

So I am loving the new Online Glamour Airy fashion store, as wow they have some fantastic clothes and they have kindly said that they will sponsor this post, so Thank you, and so I go by what catches my eye a lot, but before I press the buy button, I take a few minutes to ask “Will it fit into my current wardrobe and will it change it too much but add nicely to it?”

So the black crop top is one found on Boohoo, and I love it as I can use it to wear over things like a vest top, it is going to be great for the evenings when on holiday but when I am working in the music festivals too, with a pair of leather type boot cut trousers, and with a pair of jean shorts and a pair of jeans.

On Boohoo I found a pair really nice cross sling shoes in black and can wear the lovely black patterned dress with them along with the casual Armani trousers on the right top corner, with an item I added to another lookbook which I is a staple must have bag.

I love black cross over little bags, great to have when going to music concerts, as many venues don’t like you to take in big bags, so is perfect for your essentials that you need on you and can dance without worrying about looking after a big heavy bag.

So I had to show this bag, because this will be in my second lookbook blog after this one, but wanted to share it as it really caught my eye. Now I know that this will probably be too big, to take to a music concert,but good for holidays where you need take your phone, a camera, a portable phone charger etc, and good for the airport hand luggage are allowed to take on the plane with you.

Now if you don’t know me I love print and patterns on my clothing ad why I chose the other dress, in this look as this can be worn in various places, like on the beach, going out in the evenings and for when I attend shows.

I could not add a pair of flip flops, and the ones you see are from a low end brand, TU Sainsbury’s. I love the colour, in like a nude which I always love, but I don’t get to wear it often so wearing it on my feet will really go well with this look, to wear with one of the dresses I picked in this look book.

Checking AiryCloth they have this dress too you could add, and the patterned cross over pendalum top, that is a similar print is one I will enjoy wearing and for shows and for that beach holiday, that is awaiting for me. As rumour has it that I will be having a Honeymoon and yes I will be wearing these clothes when I do.

On the left of my look book is an item I have added to my wardrobe already this year, but the one I had was from Very. The one you see in my look book, was on Boohoo, but is a great piece I can wear. I love a Denim Jacket, and I am going to find some sparkles I can put on it, to make it less plain. I have a blue Sparkly Denim bought from Freemans, and I love it. It just makes it that more elegant and a touch of light, especially when you aren’t feeling it.

Then you see the white Pendalum top and I have a version like the one you see, that I love, and great to make the look professional for when I come back from holiday to still wear the clothes but for TV Interview work.

Daily Fashion Look Book/One High end store I like to buy items from mixed with low end

So I have high end and low end fashion. I only have one high end store I like to buy items from and that is Guess, and found some lovely items to add to my Spring wardrobe which again is versitile, from Very.co.uk

I don’t always do baige type clothing, being a mum as often kids being as they are want to rub their dirty fingers on you, being target number one, but I found these items that court my eye, and will blend with what I already have in my closet, so the white crop white shirt on top left from Boohoo.com and will be great item when working in the summer doing concerts and festivals.

I don’t want to many layers on as I will be dancing and singing so they need to be items I can easily move in.

Then there is a black tracksuit from Guess at Very, which will go well with the Guess white and gold trim trainers, and I love a bit of silver or sparkles to leisure wear, and then I have like a jumper dress, which I can wear come the evening, with a pair of leggins and the baseball cap, and its mixing Rock Queen, with Estate kid (which I am) with Music Festival fashion.

I couldn’t resist the black Guess DM’s I love these types of boots and yes I will be wearing these when doing gigs and festivals.

I have added a bit of blig from Guess and yes they compliment a casual look, as again it is still femine glamour but I like Hip Hop fashion too, so I wanted to add this in, so chose the mauroon coloured two piece and a shoulder bag, which is a staple piece I treat myself to each year and then yes the watch too.

I don’t wear watches often but this one I couldn’t stop looking at, so yes I will be adding this in aswell.
