Loving The Fashion on Amazon

To say I am obsessed is an under statement. I already have three things in my basket that has caught my eye. I do wait though before buying as I like to also find good pieces for my wardrobe on the high street like TK Maxx, H&M, M&S check out last blog: What has caught my eye In M&S and Charity shops: Going for Second Hand Fashion

Dungarees:

One of my key pieces for the Summer but can still be great for the winter with some black woolly tights and can wear with ballet shoes for the feminine touch, trainers or pumps. Some may wear ankle boots with ankle socks.

In the summer a pair of flip flops or sandals.

Dresses:

I am embracing the dress this year and ones that I know I will get some use out of. I found this dress on Pinterest and love a long dress aswell as short and can be catered for all the seasons and such a long lasting piece.

Fitness Gear:

There is a whole range of fitness clothes and this two piece caught my eye. I do Parkrun on a Saturdays and like to be active and play sports with my son and great investment to wear all year and can use, the vest top, that I do a lot come winter, for layering and in the warmer or hot seasons, wear the top, with a good sports bra and help gear me up having some nice fitness clothes.

I am going to wear this when I do Race For Life. I am taking part on the 22nd June 2025 for Cancer Research: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/carries-sponsorship-for-race-for-life

They do a whole range of shoes and found these delightful sandals, but not going to buy as want to check my local charity shops first and see some nice bits on Mountain Warehouse online site, who do a great range of clothes and footwear.

I like a good pair of flip flops, sandals and really like these. The only thing is probably not practical if it is raining or winter time, but good for wearing and would go lovely with the a dress, like above and with the dungarees and they do, a whole range. So even though they may not be a winter shoe, ones that can last and be easy to walk in.

I am going to now start to bring out my shorts to wear on days and go through what already got and love a good set of T-Shirts.

I wear them all year round and they do sets of t-shirts and vest tops. I tend to oversize having a large chest, but so easy to wear and be worn with some many things.

So I hope you like this blog and find them helpful when it comes to fashion and amazon can be a good place to look.

What has caught my eye In M&S

I love M&S and their tops are lovely and there are a few items that I have caught my eye. I do like to have a few new t-shirts because they are just so versatile and be worn in all seasons. I found a similar one in H&M and purchased, not seeing that M&S did a version, of this top too.

You can dress them up with a nice skirt, a denim skirt or a pair of nice smart trousers and like to wear a cardigan or one of my denim jackets.

Looking online spotted this dress. This is gorgeous and great to be worn with tights and bare legs and be worn with many types of footwear. A good set of ankle boots with mid high-ankle socks, trainers, sandals or flip flops and great over a swimming costume and could be worn with a polo neck underneath too to, so can be worn all year round. So very Versatile.

The one item I feel is good is there trousers but some items are not so visible of style and if they suit me. Many of the pictures online aren’t really giving out much of a showing of their clothing. I love their trousers as they do cater for different sizes and shapes, but find going into a store you get a better view of them.

I love their knit wear, their underwear and their shoes particular and their basics. There items do seem to last a long time and wash well. There is nothing worse when you’ve bought an item you want, that appears to be good quality, so will last for a good number of years, only to find that with one wash following the instructions on the label, to have gone out of shape.

If you have seen some nice items at M&S in terms of versatile fashion, please share. There is a comment section below.

Fashion Online Vs High Street

I do like to order clothes online and buy on the high street. What I like about online is that there are different items to what is in stores, but it depends where you shop as one thing I have been reminded is that not everything is good quality and when in store you can try before you buy.

Photo by Dom J on Pexels.com

I tend to shop in TKMaxx, H&M, M&S, George at ASDA and TU Sainsbury’s and Oliver Bonas. Or occasionally in B&M. I bought a pair for a shoes from B&M and I love them and been a great purchase. They have not rubbed and perfect for everyday and easy to put on.

I have never bought anything online from TKMaxx I prefer to go in the stores and my favourite ones are in Epsom and Wimbledon. Debenhams are online now and not on the high street and it was a shame. I bought many clothes from them and lasted a long time.

With M&S I love to see what they’ve got. I am done with jumpers now and so it is dressing for the summer with what I have got and may add a few items but not a lot. I will be going through my shorts and have plenty of tops and want to wear more dresses this year and for winter win it comes around again too. Some of these have been purchased online, but from the high street aswell. It is all about sustainability and upcycle clothes too so don’t need to purchase online or the high street, and of course there are charity shops.

I think stores like Primark will be on the high street still and we may, not sure if it is true, but may be a Primark in Epsom. It would be good as I like to buy my tights from there and I have a pair of shorts that have lasted several summers and will wear this year too.

New Finds in George ASDA

Today I checked out the fashion in George at ASDA yesterday morning and found some really good pieces.

I am trying my best to not buy anymore jumpers but they caught my eye and feel I need to perhaps buy one if I complete another 5K doing my weekly Parkrun. It also depends on the weather.

This is to me orange but a good piece if you like colour. This was £14 and great for all year. I love the colour and great to wear with trousers and a long skirt and like the picture, Denim.

I just looking on the website and not in store, seen this jacket. This would be such a nice piece for all seasons. It can be layered with a polar neck, with nice smart trousers, jeans for the more casual vibe and last a long time. These type of items never go out of fashion and good capsule wardrobe item.

This is on the website £34.

Then there is a jacket. I bought one as a substitute, to keep in Epsom, for when my pink jacket I have had for a long time, needs washing.

I do a lot of walking and tend to go out in the morning and so great for when it is chilly in the morning and living England it can be hit and miss with the weather and still be cold so great piece. Yes it is white but they can still be a great coats and wouldn’t wear it when I do parkrun, but going into town when it is cold and when it is raining still, keeping you toasty and warm and price on the ASDA’s website is: £25.

Check out this top. I recently bought a pair of chocolate brown trousers from M&S and this caught my eye. These tops are superb to wear all year round, by using it is a layer, and summer. I have one now underneath my jumper and have different coloured ones. If I find this top in ASDAs I will buy it. It is £7.

The prices and items can differ in the stores but can be ordered online. They have a good range of items and affordable. I go for staples and loving a wardrobe that I can mix and match. This top will be great with a pair of shorts like white, denim, chocolate brown, or even red and beige trousers or skirt and last a life time.

It is good to have a fun wardrobe and one that makes me look forward in getting ready for each day and that can go with many things and many different weathers and climates.

Is Second Hand Outfits worth the money?

I love buying second hand. Charity shops have really grown and I have a pink jumper that I showed in a vlog: https://youtu.be/tELIFB4HE90 that is secondhand and I love it.

Photo by cottonbro studio on Pexels.com

Firstly have a list in mind and do a wish list like you would for Amazon or wherever you buy your clothes from. You can find designer if that is your thing and for me they are like my boutique and love the nick knacks you can find.

I have even bought jackets and dresses from them and thermal tights and leggins. They do have hats and scarfs. They can still have items that are pricy, but if it is going to last you a long time then I am all for paying that extra and still be a good price compared to if you found it on a high end store.

There has been items that I have gone to buy and they have gone, so if you do see a piece it is worth getting it when you see it. Then there are sites like Vinted. Not purchased from that platform, but is very popular and a great way to buy second hand and sell items in your wardrobe. I bought items from eBay but not always been a success.

I have found brand new shoes, bought home decor even. If you don’t shop secondhand you be surprised what you find and quality of the items too. I was offish about it, but now I each month or when I am after a certain item, in the terms of fashion will have a look, to see if I can get it second hand.

Please if you like to share about what you think of Secondhand fashion or places to go then please leave a comment below. Please subscribe if you want to read more blogs on this site. You will be notified when I post a blog and is free to do so.

Things I am liking about my style in 2025 and having fun with fashion

I have been looking over what I have and I love patterned socks matching my top with a pair of jeans or leggins. I do still want to wear more dresses, but I like trainers and I like having a pair of boots that are stylish.

Here I am with a jumper I got second hand, my black boots from M&S. They were a Christmas present. Bottoms are from Amazon.

I have put together some collages on Pinterest of the styles I have been checking out and love the busy girl look with casual but also stylish look. Great for meeting up with friends no matter the weather and be a woman who lunches.

This is my kind of style. I love pair of knee high boots and need a new pair and looking at light brown colour. I love wearing my denim jackets, and seen a pair of jeans from ASDA and jeans can be a good essential item.

I may even buy, as planned secondhand.

Then it will be it on clothes once I have bought them and will by more brown boots when we are in the Autumn and perhaps ask for them for my birthday.

The ones I want I have put in my wish list on amazon but again will check out charity shops to see if they have a pair or may even check out Clarks.

So more to come on this site when it comes to fashion. If you’d like to be notified when I post then please subscribe.

Finding My Style 2025: Adding White to my Wardrobe

I really like fashion and planning different looks. The first major item to me is a good comfortable jacket. I saw one today on Amazon, but I’m going to hold off. I plan to go to ASDA’s to see what they have. I also checked out Sports Direct. The one I saw on Amazon is white, which is a bad idea in terms of keeping it clean. I want a spare one for Epsom. I can put my pink Puffa Jacket, which I have had for a long time, in the wash. The Jackets Sports Direct had were more practical. I can still wear it in the Summer when it can be chilly. Since writing this blog I did actually buy one from ASDA’s.

What do you think is a white jacket practical?

Do you like white clothing?

The White shirt for example can look so crisp and can be classy piece. It can be worn with many items and for many outfits. Shirts are on my list to invest in. I’m considering shirts in various colors, not just white. If you have a job interview, a white shirt can really be a classy piece when paired with a suit.

I like to own a pair of white trainers as well as black pair. I walk a lot, so I have a good pair of boots and shoes that are comfortable. I own a white pair of trainers which I bought from a charity shop and was a really good value.

Yes they do need cleaning. I have worn them for when I have taken part in Walking the Parkrun, but bought a scrubbing brush to clean them.

I want to wear more dresses and a white dress can be good piece. I am going to wear more of my dresses as they are just one piece. Great to dress up and dress down.

You can still wear it during winter time with a nice thick cardigan. Pair it with a fur woolly jacket, or as in the picture above, with a denim jacket. A good piece for the beach and sitting out in the garden.

Then there is the white maxi skirt. It is good to have items that can be worn without needing to be ironed. Denim dresses crease easily. I prefer a more flowing material. I would choose different shoes and trainers. Pair them with a thick jumper or a short sweater.

Then there is the handbag. I find that a white on white can be too much depending on the style. I would use a basket type over the shoulder bag, with a pair of shoes in the same colour.

These are some different styles that have caught my eye this year. They allow you to dress in a feminine and more stylish way rather than wearing fitness leggings bottoms all the time, which I wear a lot. The white Maxi skirt really can go with a nice White logo style t-shirt, with a pair of pumps or Birkenstock’s.

Casual Wear to Smart

I love casual clothes, but I can get bored with it. Now I enjoy my wardrobe. Building a capsule wardrobe that excites you is the way. I like owning a pair of black trousers that I can wear all year round. They will never come out of fashion.

The same with tops and dresses. I’m going to wear a lot more dresses. Dresses that will last a long time. I can wear them with a denim jacket or my pink puffer coat. I can wear trainers or boots or a pair of smart ankle boots.

I love what I own. My staple items are to always have a coat. Great way to be casual but dressed up and tailored. I wear a pair of thick or thin tights when it is less cold. I pair them with a skirt or dress and a shoulder bag. I also love my scarfs. I have thin ones and thick ones. I bought some smart shoes to. For Christmas I received a new pair of boots and love them.

They are ones I had shared ages ago. I think it was two years ago on this blog site. Next it is a pair of jeans. I will try to find a second hand pair. I will also look for a brown pair of trousers I have seen in Marks and Spencers.

I bought this lovely cashmere jumper. It was bought online from online shop called Nancy London and washes well and a masterpiece for me.

New Fashion Blog 2025 Layering Up

Hello and welcome! Happy New Year! I hope you haven’t been affected by the weather it has been mixed and at the moment in the UK it is cold outside and I am layered up with a grey polar neck from a charity shops, white polar neck from Nancy London:

A cardigan from Amazon that I bought, with my wide leg jeans.

Check these pictures on layering. This is from Pinterest and love winter fashion. One tip for going out is buying items that you can dress up and down and love layering to look tailored.

I love to invest in a good coat or jacket and leather jackets are good to have and furry coats I have a black one and love it with a pair of smart boots or shoes and perfect if you have a jumper dress or wooly dress.

My son plays rugby on Sunday mornings and so last year I invested in a pair of wellies and love them.

This was along with a pair of everyday white trainers from a Charity shop and charity shops can be a good place to buy pieces for the winter and worn in the summer when it can gets a bit chilly in the evening, but still look smart and put together.

I have found some great cardigans on Amazon and today invested in a Dressing Gown.

Here is a image of me the other day and show my new Boots I got for Christmas, with a pair of joggers from amazon that I bought last year (2024) and the jumper is a find from a charity shop:

I have set my goals for 2025 and created a board different boards on Pinterest see link below:

Loving my Wardrobe and what have bought and want to add

I was going to do a declutter and sort out my clothes, but I do like my clothes and its taken a lot for me to say that. I have had a few items I would like to add, and bought this cardigan from Amazon:

I would like stop wearing leggins all of the time and have created a Mood Board of items that I’d like to add and such a dresses and trousers.

Now we are in Autumn it is time to put on our coats and jumpers, so I don’t go mad over the summer because you never know how it is going to be, and it started off poor this year, so as soon as I was ready to get out my shorts it rained, so felt like I was a jinx and so next year I want it to be about the dress, but ones that can be worn all year round and with tights and would like to have a pair of ballet types shoes.

I have bought a few new dresses from charity shops and have online bought pair of combat style trousers but that are smart or can be worn dress down too and would like to have some smart shirts and looking for a pair of knee high boots. My everyday staples so they can be worn all year round.

I love looking and trying different styles and enjoy my clothes I have and what makes me feel good and not shy away from being more slender, be somewhat conservative and comfortable, along with having some more colour and basics. I love vest tops and knitwear and stocking up on jumpers and cardigans that have sustainability and affordable.

I find second hand fashion to be a must aswell as high street, but it depends on the quality, not the price and if it fits well and the colour aswell and goes with the clothes I already own.
