Hello and Merry Christmas! It is officially Christmas and I am writing this on Christmas Day 2020.
Yes I am working and would not go a day without posting a blog and doing some writing, and this is a greater day than any as I have a whole day to write lots. I did my Christmas day workout, didn’t manage to go for a walk but going to leave this until tomorrow.
I am listening to some ABBA songs that I not heard for ages and like to play different ones. Christmas for me is about playing music and sitting back watching a movie, and I hope my Christmas this year beats last years out of the hat. I am wearing this today, from TU Sainsbury’s, leggins from New Look and trainers from Amazon.
If you haven’t seen my previous posts on this site then I have shared some videos of items I have bought and seen on various online sites, and I will be doing a couple of sit down haul videos soon.
I was going to do a Day in a Life video, but forgot and didn’t go out as planned as I was going to go to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, but because it was pissing it down here in London, UK, I didn’t but I will, and when I do it will be posting it on this site.
If you would like to see my recent Youtube videos then click to view link below:
Here is more:
I am planning for 2021 but today want to embrace today and have a good day, and hope I get to see my love today. It has been a while since we have seen each other and I love him so much that I can’t wait to see him.
My love Lee who has a new series of Not Going Out in the new year and I have a lot coming in the New Year too. I am writing two new books as we speak and I will let you know once they have been published, I am doing a project for 2021 to help people achieve their goals and have more success in their life, and I hope to have a few book reviews going up.
Anyway I must get on now. I really do hope you have a good day today and I will be posting on this site tomorrow too.
Many thanks for reading,

It is Christmas Eve and I have wrapped up a few of my gifts now, and do feel somewhat relieved. I was being a bit grumpy last year because I always leave Christmas cards at last minute but didn’t send any this year and I feel very theraputic for not doing so.
Don’t get me wrong I like to acknowledge people at Christmas but from now on I am going to wish everyone a Merry Christmas via social media, and send one big message out to everyone via that route.
I have changed a lot this year, and have seen the light and yes I have made mistakes but I do own up to them, and I know I am not perfect but I am okay with that now. I will never be Eintein, but I like to share on things I do know about and want to do all I can to make peace in my life and do what I love, and that is writing and living the life I have always wanted to live, even if I do have to do it on my own.
I have been playing some music to get into the spirit of Christmas, and getting my act together. Tomorrow I will begin my new fitness regime, that I will carry on as we head into the new year and have written a blog about my fitness goals this year, so go and check this out via my site:
I will also be drafting my google blogs for tomorrow, to get ahead of myself, and hope that there will be some good films on.
It is a strange Christmas this year in that we aren’t really allowed to socialise still with a huge amount of our family and I do feel so sad for those who are elderly and will possibly be on their own this year. I bet Boris Johnson hasn’t thought about that, and I am getting very suspicious about COVID now, that I think a lot of people will be very unhappy and pray for it to be over, rather than looking forward to it.
I know we have to be careful, but my word a drink with a few family members isn’t really going to kill us is it? it appears that there are a lot of things going on in hospitals that we don’t know about, and it is scary to think that those who have gone into hospital may not come out alive.
When I was in hospital about 5 years ago I was certain that there was corruption going on because they would have their ID badges facing the other way, and none was saying Epsom and St Helier hospital, but Borehamwood, which was a hospital in Cheam and was a private hospital so wasn’t under the NHS. Some may argue this factor, but this was where my Auntie went when she was unwell and prescribed her the wrong medication which caused her to have a heart attack, and that was when I got married to my first husband.
There was a male nurse that was talking to another nurse about a pyramid scheme, and I just knew something was not quite right and was glad to have gotten out of there.
I do think the NHS are suffering and COVID has not helped at all, and are suffering a lot. There just seems that they are covering over something and would like to see someone go into these hospitals undercover to see what really are these people dying from.
From what I have read about COVID it appears to be like any other flu, because doing some online courses when I was working at a few nurseries we would do regular training on Illnesses and flu was one of them, and the symptoms do appear to be the same as COVID. They have not explained why this one is different.
I know flus can lead to other illnesses like nemonia, dehydration if you do not have enough fluids and chest infections, and also Sepsies, but they haven’t said how it kills as such. I have done my research and looked through and I can’t see anything from the details if have found that this flu stands out from the others.
Tomorrow is Christmas day and I am still going to pop out and go for a walk and sit in the park if it is open and read my book, if I can, I think we just have to keep living our lives the best we can, and hopefully by the new year, it would have all shifted again, but who knows.
Please enjoy the day as much as you can, and if you know someone is on their own why not pop a little note through their door and leave a mince pie or a chocolate on their doorstep and just let them know it is there and your thoughts are with them.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie (L.M) X

So it is three days away before the big day of when Jesus was born and when Santa should have arrived to deliver those lovely presents.
With the Lockdown it hasn’t been super busy but there were people like me who were getting their last minute gifts today and everyone looked as if they can’t wait for this year to finish, and get Christmas out of the way.
A lot of kids were out in the park on their scooters, bikes and footballs, and I keep thinking it is a Sunday. I really want my life to change as we reach Christmas as I do want a new place to live and have my own space again, and be with the man I love now, who lives local to me.
I am listening to a Roy Orbison song “A love so beautiful” as it documents what a year it has been for me and those that I lost this year, and this time last year I was a total mess, and was being hurt very badly that it still gets to me and I can’t talk about it, without being in tears.
I just wanted true love, I am not a psycopath by any means, I just believe in love and compasion and it was if I had committed a crime by moving away from a place I can’t even think about going back to.
I never want another year like this one and as I listen to one of my dad’s favourite songs “That’s what friends are for” as I was cut up about that too, not seeing him before he died also pulls at my heart because yes he could be a bastard to me as a kid, I always knew he did love me and would have taken my side, all of the time.
He just wanted to show me tough love at times so I would toughen up. I did become an easy target as a kid sometimes.
I have had friends walk away from me this year and others that I have lost through those who were jealous and didn’t want their neighbour to be happy.
I just been told to off for my singing, Fuck off, its my mouth not yours and some people are just spoil arseholes who make out their upset because they think they are a princess.
I never believed that of me and you know what is going to be my moto in 2021 is if you don’t like then you fuck off not me, and do one.
I think we should all do that to jealous horrible bastards as they just have nothing going for them in anyway and like to bring others down with them.
So lets have good Christmas and I will be doing more emails going over this year ready for a new one.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie (L.M) X

Hello and welcome to my weekly Tea and Biscuits post where I talk about many things and in this blog is to celebrate my love for music once again. It has helped me a lot this year and continues to do so, and here are some songs that some I do consider to be mine, so here is my Top Ten Songs for 2020:
Wendy Moden “Change of Heart”
Pink “A Million Dreams”
The song from the Waitrose advert for 2020 “Celest”- “A little love”
Roger Daltrey “As Long as I have you”
Kylie Minogue “Say Something”
An old 80’s song called “Happenin All over again” by Lonnie Gordon
“Bring him home” by Alfie Boe
“Oh what a night” check this out from Joules Holland last years new years even show, which I shared with Micheal Buble
“The First time” Rod Stewart that was written and bought out this year
Tiffany song “All this time”
Music is such a beautiful thing and was hard to know what songs to choose, but I live by it everyday and i have used it to communicate or document my life. I will do this kind of blog post each year to celebrate my life through it, and can’t wait to write new songs myself and hear new music for next year.
So this is the last Tea and Biscuits post I will be writing before Christmas and will back next Sunday as we head towards a new year.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie (L.M) X
P.S: Please check out my new fundraising JustGiving page where I am raising money for the charity Tommy’s, who provide support and raise awareness for Stillbirths and Premature births:
So this is my weekly Meal Ideas post that I like to do, as I love it when people have this type of content in their blogs or Youtube videos and inspires me, and so hope my blogs on sharing meal ideas does the same.
This week it is simple dish and simple does it, as these meals never break the bank. It is Pork Chop, Baked Potato with butter and grated cheese and coleslaw. I have one chop left for tomorrow and bought some good priced chicken fillets too for £1.80. The chops were £3, but think delicious chops from Tescos.
I bought two loose baked spuds that came to 69p, and took no time at all, in that when I make the same meal tomorrow I will bake the baked potato for less time, as I did for 10 mins on high heat in the microwave and then in the oven with the chop for 45 minutes, but really didn’t need to.
The Coleslaw I purchased was from Mark and Spencers as they have the loveliest coleslaw and a box of their own hot chocolate sachets which are lovely too.
The Total price of my shopping as purchased a bag of Crossiants for my breakfast and snack and some biscuits and chocolate was, £20.36 from Tescos and Marks and Spencers, £3.65, so a total of £24.01.
I am going to in the week get a tin of Marks and Spencers biscuits as they are delicious and great for the festive season.
This post will be my last Meal Ideas blog before Christmas, but will be back in two weeks with another meal ideas post then, along with some information on Boxing Days Sales.
I will also film part of my Christmas this year and do a kind of day in a life, which I am going to do tomorrow when I go up to London.
Then there is the new year. I have some projects in my sleeve but will let you know about these as we get nearer to the end of this year.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie (L.M) X
P.S: Please see my JustGiving page which I have set up this year to raise money for the charity called, Tommy’s:
So what is the difference between Very Vs Freemans, is that Very has some of the same items but are cheaper on Very than on Freemans website.
I used to love it when you go a huge catalogue coming through the door, and would look at it page by page, and I was like a kid in a sweet shop.
Even their Sale items on Freemans can still workout to be expensive.
Are they cheaper and easier than high street?
In a way yes, and you can find different pieces of clothing and items on Freemans and Very, compared to the high street, and don’t have to pay in full.
Here are some items I have saved in my Very shopping basket that I found on Clearance and I will share these in my next weeks Look book again, once they arrive:
These clothes and shoes above are all in Very’s Clearance items and going like hot cakes. These items are great to wear at a Christmas party or just going out for a drink.
You will see some stars from TOWIE and a certain lady who was on Coronation street, and are her own designs. Check out Our Girl on BBC 1.
Freemans have items in their sale, but they don’t have a clearance section, but here are some items from their sale items.
The one thing I love about Very compared to Freemans, is that they also do homewares, like mugs, food containers, and I have purchased some furniture from Very too, and they do a whole range of items which don’t break the bank and are good quality.
You want Durable items, and that is what I look for in clothes too.
So I will be sharing more from these stores aswell as Amazon, as there is still time to buy items that will be delivered before Christmas and you can spread the cost, and save at the same time.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie (L.M) X
P.S: If you haven’t read my previous posts, then you wouldn’t know that I am raising money for a good cause again, and this year it is Tommy’s and so if you would like to donate to this charity you can do so, via the link below:
Hello and welcome! Here is another Shopping Ideas blog post, and as I have teamed up with Amazon this year to promote their goods for Christmas 2020, thought I share some of their offers.
So if you didn’t know this lady above Stacey Solomon, then this lady started her career by auditioning for the X Factor, and now is a household name, as she talks a lot on various topics on the ITV show Loose Women. She has teamed up Amazon herself this year, as she promoting Handmade products available on Amazon, as she always gives handmade presents and I planned to do the same.
I am going to make Christmas Hampers this year, with various goodies as I know my family and what they would like.
Now not all items will be from Amazon, but various places, and will share these once I have put these together. Here is a link to Amazon, Handcrafted and Personalised products.
Welcome to another Tea and Biscuits post, in this weeks post I am talking about getting ready for Christmas. I have no where near got my presents ready for Christmas as I am hoping that I will be off away for Christmas and be somewhere new.
The way it is going though this may not happen, but I am going to plug away to see if I can get as much done before the festive day and be ready for a brilliant new year.
My best thoughts for 2020, I have come through the worst and my marriage came to an end and now want to concentrate on working for myself and generate my own income.
I have a new love and hope to see him more around Christmas and hope we get to meet in the new year.
You can change your life, and if there are those that don’t make you feel good then it is time to evaluate what they do for you. Do they send you down all the time, or really have your back?
I haven’t seen my nieces and it has broken my heart that I haven’t and wish that they are okay and I will think of then everyday. They are Angels and I have realised who my friends are, and that many people aren’t real and put it on.
I want all children to be safe and live the magicalness of Christmas and if your kids haven’t written their Christmas list, it is time to make them do so now.
I will be having a Christmas drink from Costas or Starbucks. I love the festive drinks that they do, and have played some Christmas tunes. I will be going for my usual Christmas walk, and going to see if I can download a film to watch if I am not with my son, and my new love.
Tea I love to drink is Earl Grey and had a few today, with some Ginger and Custard Cream Biscuits.
So I will write another post next week, and I hope your weekend was good and have a wonderful week ahead.
Many thanks for reading,
Carrie X (L.M)
