If you have read my other blogposts you would see that I love my music and I can spend hours playing music. I don’t tend to buy any music now but play it on Youtube.
The tracks that has rocked my boat this week is this tune called You got the love, love comes down, Dub be good to me and I touch myself.
I find music relaxing and empowering at the same time, I wrote a post some time ago on my website everyone can build a castle called Empowering music, and how it lifts my spirits and makes me feel like I can get through each day.
It is so easy to listen to music now and can be taken wherever you go if you have an android or smart phone.
There are songs that can take me back in to life like many Diana Ross and Lionel Richie songs that remind me of when I went on holiday to Menorca and other songs like Fame that remind me of the holidays we used to have in Clacton.
There are songs that make me think of working at Butlins, holiday camps are great place to have holiday and it was a huge part of my life that those memories will be with me forever through music.
Music is so versatile that there are songs that still live on now, example the one song I am listening to now Give it Up by K C and the Sunshine Band.
So lets do as much as we can even if some of us are still under Lockdown and many thanks for reading,
Carrie X

Hello and welcome it is Friday, hallelujah and means I have some extra time to get some blogs done.
I love my son but he is at that age where he wants to play a lot and so I have been spending my afternoons with my little dude watching quiz shows, check out my blog from yesterday Forever art they quiz show
I do like a quiz show and I managed to get a few questions yesterday, I still haven’t got a nine letter or a conundrum yet, but give me time I know I will get one eventually.
I can’t believe we are now in June, and soon the kids will be breaking up for summer holidays.
I am at the moment doing some writing aswell as listening to some music. That is one thing I could never live without is my music, a day would not feel right if I didn’t.
I love beating out some Rod Stewart and rock music such as Cyndi Lauper, Aerosmith, Def Leopard, and music like Billy Joel and Bon Jovi.
This weekend I have no plans appart from doing some more writing and seeing a special someone.
So have a good weekend everyone and stay safe.

Hello and welcome to another blog post on my everyday living site.
So last weekend I watched Alan Carr’s new show Epic Gameshow and I got to say I loved it. I loved Play Your cards right as a kid to an adult and I still love it now. It was Play Your Cards right this weekend but a celebrity one.
I love a game show and it is different ones like Strike it Lucky, Come on Down and many more which at the moment I can’t remember the names of but hopefully get the gist.
Last night I watched a show celebrating Bradley Walsh, who is a Quiz show host, Actor and Comedian, 60th birthday. It was very funny looking back on his career.
Bradley Walsh is one of my claims to fame and I first heard of him when he was a warm up man for a comedy and he picked on my mum’s friend Gill. I been to see him on two shows, I am not going to tell you what they are as I can’t remember them, one was like a bloopers show and the other a talent show.
He has had an amazing career in film and on TV. His most recent show is a quiz show called The Chase, which I love and there is one now where you can play against all the Chaser. Now there are quiz shows I would do but I not sure if could do The Chase as I am alright during the second round where they go against The Chaser. The first and the last round I’d be bloody useless, so I think the only Chaser I’d have is a drinking one to cure my nerves.
He has also done shows like the Royal Variety shows and my absolute favourite, Sunday night at the London Palladium.
I do like Countdown but I am still yet to get a nine letter, I am lucky to get a 6 so I just count my lucky stars that I can get that, and forget the numbers game I am fucking crap.
Maths was never my niche but I do try I just know I am never going to get there.
I like the evening version of Countdown, 9 Out of Ten Cats, because they take the piss which more up my street.
I love Suzy in the Dictionary corner she is my goddess of words, so if I was to team up with someone, not that I like to cheat but it would be her, or my other half Lee McKillop or Stephen Fry.
Then numbers if I could do a swap it would be Rachel and numbers, or I’d bring back Carol Vorderman. Lets face it she knows how to fly, so if we had to make a quick dash out of the studio she is the person to go to.
Now okay so that is cheating but you can’t muck about with such quiz shows because you have to think about Tactics, and no I don’t mean Tik Taks, I mean TACTICS and of the ideal scenario because that is the only way I’d win. I know what people say, it is the taking part that counts, urmmm no not in my book it’s not, so get out of the way brainy and let stupid me have a go.
It amazes how these youngsters get on these shows, and not being rude but some haven’t even hit puberty yet but they still seem to know more than me, and I am now what 41, no chance.
So I am not going to retire and give up my quiz brain that I don’t have for the morning, until once again the quiz shows begin.

Hi welcome to another blog. It is the end of another week almost and I am so glad to finally have some normality back.
Come Monday my son will be back at school so we can all have some free time again and he gets to spend time playing with other kids again.
This Lockdown has taken it’s toll that yesterday I lost the plot of what day it was.
I do feel like I have accomplished lots considering the circumstances and tried to make the most of how much time I have had.
Boris Johnson have completely confused everyone about social distancing that we have had to make it up ourselves.
My son has all in all been excellent considering, and still spent some time outdoors, it is always tricky with little ones, but come Monday it will back to the busy school run.
Please check out my blog I wrote on Bloglovin called:

Hello and happy Thursday. Almost the end of another week.
Now to say I love music would be an understatement, as I can’t stand a day without it and is what keeps me going, along with the people I love and writing.
There is a song I discovered which I absolutely love and wanted to share because it is such a catchy happy song:
The other song I rediscovered is a song called “Right Here Waiting for you” Such a romantic lovely song.
I love a good old love song and this one really grabs the heart.
Music for me is like a personal message, that the song was written for me, and not for anyone else.
It is something that will never ending, as there will be music being produced and there are so many brilliant songs out there, that often I am like a kid in a sweet shop.
I have now created some fantastic playlists and has saved me so much money, that I haven’t bought a CD for years.
So keep listening to those gorgeous songs and let me know what songs you have been listening to at the moment. You can leave a comment below.

So just now whilst I was having some quiet time listening to music, I came across Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers, and every time I watch them, which now I am into other things have not watched for along time, they still blow me away.
They were such an iconic couple, making film after film with their beautiful dancing.
Check out this clip below of them tap dancing together in the film, Swing Time:
This is one of the reasons I am a big fan of Strictly come dancing because of the performances and the dancing.
It is a proper Saturday night show, and I fall in love with it each time.
If I could pick an ideal date it would be to go out dancing, as I just love it.
Anyone can dance okay not everyone can be like Fred Astaire or Ginger Rodgers but anyone can get up on the dance floor and move. I love to dance and let myself go, when I go to a concert I always make sure I am standing not sitting so I can dance the night away.
It is a good way to keep fit and let your hair down.
So let me know if you too like dancing and Strictly come dancing by commenting below and remember to keep following me on WordPress.com to keep up to date with blogs.

Hi there and welcome to another post. In this blog post I am sharing some of favourite fashion looks that I have put together for this week.
I love fashion and like to do a look book to help inspire me and get the most out of my wardrobe. I will be posting on a weekly basis, sharing some looks from my look book to inspire others who love fashion too.
This is a classic look and great for this time of year. I love a classic vest top, with a nice comfortable fitted cardigan, a well cut quality pair of jeans and a pair of wedged shoes.
I find a wedge shoes is often easier to wear than a court shoe, plus they work well with a good pair of jeans.
Do you have a black dress. This dress is gorgeous and fits women like me are curvy and I wanted to add some colour so found (above) a lovely pair of stripy coloured stilettos and a bag to match.
I put together some heart jewelry to finish off the look.
