Comedy Double Acts

It is Friday, end of another week. I filmed my Easter weekend for my Youtube Channel but this didn’t go to plan as couldn’t create my footage to make it into a Youtube Video, so posted the videos on my Google plus account.

I was just trying again because I have some videos on my camera to upload, but this wouldn’t work either, so not able to upload any videos as of yet, but I am going to keep on trying.

I had a good Easter, my mum created an Easter Egg hunt which I filmed, and Monday went for a walk in town and a drive.

I have been watching my favourite comedy double act Cannon and Ball, check the one video I watched, which was them at their best.

I love comedy acts, and speaking of double acts I thought Dec did well on his own last week on Ant and Dec’s Saturday night Take Away.

I would like to pay tribute to one of my favourite Dart Players Eric Bristow, who Sadly has passed away, but will never be forgotten.

Check out my new blog on my website:

What have you been watching and how was your Easter I would love to hear from you.

How other people live

There is nothing more interesting to me than watching how other people live, and I have got into watching some Youtube videos about how a family of three live in a van travelling across Australia.

Check out below:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCf1netb87P7Tyb6TPFCwXJw

I find it refreshing to watch, as it makes me realise you have to make the most of what you have. There is a lady from England who lives in a Yurt in New Zealand.

Check out channel below:

They do unschooling, as they learn as they do physical things like picking fruit and vegetables, crafting and playing outdoors. I see it as a education to live a more minimal life and do simple play to educate my own son, before he begins school.

I also been watching videos on other blog writers for inspiration, check out example of a video I came across was really interesting.

As a blog writer I believe in learning and educating myself for inspiration and to make the most of my days rather than lounging around all day doing nothing, as that does makes the days go slow.

So what do love to watch that inspires you I would love to hear from you.

I love cleaning and organisation videos check out an example below:

Its as if there was no snow

snow in our garden

I can’t believe after having all that snow its as if when you look outside, that there wasn’t any snow. This time last week it looked bleak as on Friday I had to wait over an hour for a train just to go 5 stops.

It is amazing how nature can cause the whole of Britain to come to a stand still, when we have had snow before. People getting trapped on the roads and on trains, people being stranded on the motorways.

When its that cold all I like to do is lay in bed, with a cup of tea watching TV, or a good old film. Sundays for example there is no better evening for me than having a cup of tea, whilst in bed watching Call the Midwife, Saturdays its Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway and then The Voice, and during the week, it is Extreme Cake Makers on Channel 4 and then the Hustle on Sony Crime Channel on  Freeview.

Unluckily our boiler has been broken since last week with no hot water or heating, so I had to stay at my mums over the weekend and when at home relied on Electric Heaters to warm us up. Hopefully it be fixed this time tomorrow, so don’t have to avoid our landing because it being so cold.

Luckily we do have an Electric Shower so at least we can keep clean. Give Henry our son a wash using a Washing up Bowl, using the water from the shower to give him a bath.

It amazing how you can improvise over the simple things, and find your way around having no heating or hot water.

Some Tunes and organzation videos

It Saturday and not a day I often blog on, but as I was listening to some music and watched some Youtube videos I thought I would share some of the ones I love listening to and watching.

Today I was supposed to be seeing some friends I have known all my life that I don’t get to see that often now, as we all have our own families now, but due to Henry (my son) coming down with some horrid stomach bug, it didn’t happen.

Plus the weather being miserable doesn’t help.

The first thing I wanted to share was some Tunes I love listening to, and the tunes I felt like playing today was from the TSB advert, called Anne Dudley’s Humonics- Henry’s Theme.

Seems weird I know but I just love this tune, it lifts me out of a miserable mood as soon as I  here it on the TV.

The other tune was the instrumental version of the Titanic theme tune.

I just needed to here this today and it takes me to a peaceful place in my mind.

I love a good organisation video to get inspired by too, and I love watching ones from Do It On a Dime Channel. Here is her newest video to help clear up those small untided spaces.

What videos and music to you love to watch on rainy days on at the weekend, I would love to here from you.

Getting by

Please check out my new blog on my website:

https://theparentingadventurestipsandtricks.wordpress.com

I have started to Home Educate Henry, my son, to help get him ready for when he starts school in September.

For me it is been a bit of struggle as I lost my job just before Christmas, but getting by the best I can. I always get so apprehensive on Wednesdays and Fridays because I have to get up at 6:30am to get Henry at Nursery for 7:30am.

I have been watching Call The Midwife and The Voice, which I am loving at the moment. I can’t get into Dancing on Ice, I watch my favourite which is Cheryl Baker than turn onto something else.

I am having a change around at home at the moment changing our living room around, and taking a piece of furniture from downstairs to upstairs, I will take some photos and post on my  Seasonal Clear up page, on my main site, Carriesrealworld.com

Once it is all complete and post them tomorrow or over the weekend.

My hubby and I’s plan of watching a film in the evenings, didn’t last long we kept getting so tired and then stopping the film halfway through.

Anyway gonna get on now and have some lunch soon, I will post again next week.

What Fridays mean to me

Friday some people will be clock watching for their final day at work to finish so they can get ready for the weekend ahead.

For me I look forward to spending time with my husband and my son. I do like my Wednesdays and Fridays as it is time for myself, and I use it as a way to catch up on my projects like my new book which is soon to be published, I will let you know when and catch up on my blogs.

Fridays was at one time the day I would go out for the evening, when I worked up in London, and would do the same sometimes on a Saturday or Sunday, as I would follow a rugby team.

I like how my life has changed, sometimes it can feel sad that it has, but I like how my life is now and the people who are in it. It is my day to catch up on my “to do’s” and chill as it is the end of the week.

How do you like to spend your Friday I would love to hear.
