Saturday Weekly Post/Planning my days During the school Holidays

Hello and thank you so much to those who have been reading my blog posts and watching my #Youtube videos it does mean the world to me when you give me such positive feedback.

So it is Saturday once again and this post is about Planning my days during the school holidays as it can be mean putting some work, like I do on hold but actually if you write blogs and create Youtube videos you can use within your content and then using the mornings and the evenings to do the other bits within your digital and online work.

When it comes to looking after the kids during the holidays I would stick with your block schedule and so spare up the afternoon to spend time with them and then blocks of time to do blogs and videos, and set an alarm just like you would when your kids are back at school.

I would do tasks that can make good content as a lot of it is accidental, yet it can be a good video to share with fello parents of what they can do with their family aswell there work blocking time.

Today I got to see my son and I did a bit of work, but then spent time watching his favourite game show on TV holding hands and you can’t take away those moments and it is important for our kids and other family we love to give them your time.

The other thing I do is batch work, so I will batch some videos and blogs, planning my work so it is pre-written and already scheduled to be published online, so free up the space of making your content go life and then pick up from me once the kids are back.

Use the weekends, and now Lockdown is being removed you will be able to have kids be looked after by grandparents or childminders, so you can use that time to catch up on bits of work.

Never be afraid if someone gets there before you, in offering to take your kids out. Of course making sure you know and trust them and just make sure they call you through out the day or you call them, to make sure they are alright and in case of any emergencies that can crop up.

When it comes to housework, have the kids do this too as part of their day and to earn rewards of things they would like to do during the school holidays, and use the rewards earned during school period to make their dreams come true when you have more time with them.

You can use this time to film your day as a parent to show other parents how you balance your days when the kids are off from school.

It is all about prioritizing and schedule your quiet times, so all kids if it the holidays and let them stay up a bit longer, still have a time of when all kids should be in bed, so you can rest and recuperate. Just make space for them and yes delegate, a parents structure is one where you can enjoy it without too much hassle.
