Planning my life is a juggling act, the first thing I always do is update my google calendar and then put any appointments in my Filofax’s which I do have two of, I use these as my everyday planner.
Along with my yearly hanging calendar I have in my living room, and then once I have checked these I then will update my work planner.
I think I have Queen Mania as at the moment I can’t help but play their music, and through watching Queen on Youtube came across this singer called Marc Martel.
Check out this video here of his version of Love of My Life
I also love the Adam Lambert’s version of the Cher song, Believe.
Check out this interview of Brian May interview with Lorraine, he talks about how Freddie Mercury would have loved that Queen continue on their legacy and I think he couldn’t be more truthful if he tried.
I so want to see them in concert now, and love their music like never before.
Do you like Queen?
Whats your favourite Queen song?

I came across this video of Queen Rehearsing for Live Aid 1985.
Since seeing the film Bohemian Rhapsody I have become a huge Queen fan. I was before but the film has made me more of a fan now.
Here’s an interview with Rami Malek Discussing his Freddie Mercury transformation.
I think he portrayal of Freddie Mercury was brilliant and uncanny.
I do like Adam Lambert too, and I think he had bought Queen back to life along with the rest of the band, and his voice complements the music really well.
No one will ever replace Freddie and I think everyone knows that, but it is good that they have bought Queens music back to life.
What do you think?

The things I am loving at the moment are, I love watching the 100K drop with Davina McCall. I wouldn’t go on it myself, but I find it nerve wracking watching other people try it out. I think it so depends on what questions you get, as they could be anything.
I loved the series Cleaning Up with Sheridan Smith, I love her new music to.
This is the one I am loving at the moment, called Northern Soul.
The other music I have been listening to is Queen, Who Wants To Live Forever, this has a strong connection with me, as it reminds me of someone I used to work with who sadly died all of a sudden. It was so unexpected that whenever I listen to the song it takes me back to that time, and keeps Nigel (was his name) memory alive for me.
If you liked the film Bohemian Rhapsody, then you will like this video, which shows the making of the film.
Happy Valentines Day to everyone. Me and my hubby don’t really celebrate the day as such, but I will cook dinner tonight as per normal.
I have never really celebrated Valentines Day I did make the effort when it was the year of mine and my husband 10 year anniversary, but apart from that I do treat it as a normal day.
We have even forgotten our actual wedding anniversary a few times, my husband is better at remembering those types of dates than me. I just about manage Christmas and this is the only holiday I really celebrate.
I used to be a complete humbug when it came to Valentines Day, as I was never a girl who had a lot of boyfriends and didn’t care for it much.
Me and my husband celebrate our relationship through out the year and so there is no real significance to celebrate Valentines Day as such, not knocking those who do it just not something I feel I need to celebrate.
What about you, do you celebrate valentines day?
What do you do to celebrate?

The things I would love to see in 2019 are a final deal on Brexit, is it going to happen or not?
I would like to see Chelsea get into Europe at least, if we and doesn’t look like it, don’t win the Premiership this year, and be in chance of making it into the Champions League.
I was hoping to see Micheal Buble in concert, but no chance, as all the low price tickets had sold out and couldn’t get 4 tickets I needed, only platinum ones and sorry Micheal but I am not paying 200 quid for a ticket, I just can’t do it. Instead we are taking my inlaws (my husband parents) to see the musical Tina.
I would love to see the new Stan and Ollie film about Laurel and Hardy, one of my favourite double acts growing up as my dad always had their films on.
My husband and I have been talking and would love to go and see a lower league football match, it is always good to go and support the local teams.
Then most of all see Henry continue to grow and take him to lot more places, as he keeps asking about going to the seaside.
So what would you like to see in 2019? I would love to hear from you.

Books can inspire me and help to grow myself as a person.
I wouldn’t go anywhere without having a good book to read.
The books I love are self help books, crime novels and chick flicks.
These are are my go to favourites and love being in my own world whilst reading them, and there will be more book reviews to come.
Reading helps with my writing and teaches me about different words and meanings, and as with everything I am still learning and with books I can have endless days reading.
Do you love to read?
What are your favourite types of books?
I would love to hear from you.

A typical routine for me, is dependent on if I am working at a nursery or not. I work part time as a Nursery Practitioner. A routine for me is essential and helps keep me structured.
I am a early bird always have been, not through choice but through my automatic body clock. I usually wake up between 4:3O to 5:30am and get up between 6-6:30am.
Getting up early is important to me as it does help me get my arse in gear and get on with my day. I will often now do some work on my blogs in the morning before my son gets up. Not always a success but it does help to get on with something in the morning it just gives me that boost of energy.
When my husband is off which is not always the case, I do take advantage and do some early morning cleaning, or we go out to the shops early, and helps spread out the rest of the day.
So what is your morning routine? Do you get up early too?

It was a brilliant new year, one I shall never forget. We traveled to Southampton to see my husband’s parents.
Firstly when we arrived we took my husbands real mum and her husband for a coffee in a place called Woolston. Not that many shops, but there is the Woolston Cafe there and they do a lovely full English Breakfast, or you can have other meals too and a drink.
As you drive through to Southampton you come across the harbour, with many boats. It is a beautiful place and I get goose bumps whenever we drive to Southampton.
Then we went to see my husbands real dad and step mum, who live in a place called Sholing, which has a few shops, but it is mainly houses. It was a lovely surprise to them as we didn’t say that we were coming down on new years eve, and they loved the surprise.
We had a bite to eat there and then went out to a pub called The Juniper Berry where they had Karaoke, at which my father in-law got up and sang a few songs.
Then went round to one of our friends in Southampton place to celebrate the new year and had a few drinks in doors.
Picture of our friends on New Years Eve
The next day we stayed mainly indoors with my husbands dad and step mum, watching some old films. My husband and I did take a little walk up to the shop, but that was all we did do in terms of going out.
On Wednesday we celebrated my husbands dads birthday, and started off in a pub called the Heartbreakers, which was a nice little pub round the back of town very quiet but very comfortable.
They do a huge range of drinks and I was drinking Symonds Cider.
My husband on the left of this picture in the blue suit and my father in law who was the birthday boy.
In between visiting the Heartbreakers we went round to Christina’s for a bite to eat, they do a whole range of nice food. I had my favourite, scampi and chips, which I know it is not healthy, but when I am on holiday I like to treat myself a little bit.
Then on from Heartbreakers we walked to another pub called The Angel, which had again wasn’t packed so plenty places to sit and we all each put on some music on the jukebox. There were a good variety, plus they had the football on live aswell.
It was a really brilliant evening and good to play some music and have a drink at the same time.
Southampton is great for shopping aswell and they have a great selection if you like me, like shopping in charity shops, aswell high street stores like Primark, Marks and Spencers and Debenhams.
I also love going down to the Quay but not much was open on this day, and none of the big Cruise ships were in, so we didn’t go down there this time.
In any case we still had a fantastic time and I would totally recommend it.
