So is the heatwave over? It appears to be going on the forecast. So what is versatile when going from extreme hot weather to cooler temperatures?
Long skirts: I have a hard time finding a long skirt being only 5ft 2in, but I have had some and would like to again. I saw some in TK Maxx which were straight and not flowy. So it does depend on the shape and colour for me. I find they can be too long so it is trying a few styles before finding one that fits me and Louise Pentland carries them perfectly and great to wear with chunky boots.

These one is from Shein and they do some good clothes and good price too but I like the material on this one and the split down the side. Great with a pair of boots and be good with a nice white top and leather jacket.
Waste Coats: Yes. I feel that they have come back in fashion. I remember being a secondary school in the 90’s and waste coats were in and can be worn without a top underneath or with a shirt and so definitely perfectly versatile.

This one is from Peacocks. I recently visited a Peacocks on the Isle of Wight and is a good shop for all shapes and sizes. We don’t have one in Epsom or Wimbledon the two places I’ve lived and visit a lot, but if you do it is worth checking them out.
The plain top: I have plane tops. So mean one colour and great for wearing just as it is and with a jumper or cardigan for layering in.

This one is a prime example and chocolate brown is very in this year and I have always loved and this one is from Tescos F&F and good price too and very versatile.
Its simple pieces. I love a t-shirt but I have found many can go out of shape and so I look for quality and is my go too and can last a lifetime like all the pieces I have mentioned.
