So now we are in Autumn I am planning for many events coming up as we do have birthdays and Christmas of what I am going to wear. We are off to a show on my birthday, go to see the Red roses at the end of this month (September 2026) play rugby at Twickenham and then we will be going to annual treat, Panto and taking my son on a trip to see the Christmas lights in London on a bus and my son wants to go to see a firework display.
So the one thing I am looking at is a leather jacket. Been after one for a while. They have one in Boohoo that I have purchased and got a discount on it and was almost sold out. It is not real leather and I find they are great for all year for in the evenings when it is cold and I like to rock style look or the biker chick.
I haven’t shopped on Boohoo for a long time, but I have a jumper dress from them and has lasted me a long time and then I’d like a waterproof jacket. I was going to buy a waterproof jacket but I have one.
The jeans I have are good but I want ones with pockets at the front. I love a pocket and love hooded jackets too and got rid of some jumpers because they’d shrunk a bit and I like a hoodie that has pockets and so really being choosy and I feel good for it. There is a pair of black fitness bottoms that I wear with my DM Boots and can’t wait to wear them and yes I would wear summer but with the heatwave I haven’t but I love them. They were TK Maxx.
I like what I have on and will be a while but really going through what I have and most of my wardrobe I like and want to save as I am getting my hair cut and thinking about what I would like to wear and what kind of looks am I going for.
The biker chick look:
I like the tailored look too and so versatile and I have coat/jacket that is good for all weathers and shopping at home through my wardrobe, gets me so excited and I have never felt that way before. It is good to be able to wear a vest top or a good t-shirt and for tailored a smart pair of trousers with a good winter coat or jacket. They can last a lifetime and be worn for so many different purposes. My son plays sports so I like to wear a set of good comfortable trainers and he has tennis so last week I had on leggings with a grey sleeveless top from M&S and I will invest in a mirror to show some of my different looks and just like to mix it up and what matches. I have a dress that I like but it really needs to be cold to wear it.
I may wear when we go on the bus tour. I an going to book it next month because the spaces go quite quickly and there are different ones you can do and so if it is open top like it was the first time, the dress will be perfect.
These clips are from Pinterest and always use for inspiration. It is good to have a good selection of clothes and if I have my cycle black is always safe, if it is going to be for the outdoors and how comfortable are they.
If your having a Christmas party then talk to the others who are going and what they will be wearing and will it involve walking?
It is half term in October and so I suspect my son will be wanting to go for walks which I do enjoy but its being practical with what I choose to wear. I can’t wait to wear my brown near high boots that I bought last year and this would go well with the jumper dress I have and it is good to have options, a good selection of bags and what I will be eating.
Confession, I still get food down me and so perhaps an adult bib if there is one.
Of course I will be wearing my Christmas jumpers when it gets near. I won’t be buying any new ones but would like to make my own at some point and have my own homemade selection designed by myself as I feel we should do what we love at Christmas within reason and how you like to celebrate. We use the time to for a Christmas day walk, visit a Christmas Market leading up to it and on the day, just chill and may go for a drive as we did find a coffee shop open last year so hopefully we will this time.
I use Christmas for time out and I won’t be setting the alarm and my husband cooks and so I will be making a pudding and so we don’t go mad and just take it easy.
